Whatever its particular meaning, ADR refers to a spectrum of processes, other than litigation, which can be used to resolve disputes.

The spectrum of processes that can be used includes:

  • Facilitation

  • Negotiation

  • Dispute Resolution Board (DRB)

  • Mediation

  • Early Neutral Evaluation (ENE)

  • Conciliation

  • Expert Determination

  • Adjudication

  • Arbitration
